Tapioca

We thought that tapioca came in a box. This a a tapioca and it is a root much like a potato. You can boil it, bake it, or roast it just like potatoes.
The tapioca has a thick cover that you peel off with your hand. Then you are left with a white root that looks like a potato.

Bread Making with Dennis

Dennis Kaawa wanted to learn to make bread. His wife passed away a year ago and he has missed her home cooked breads. We gave him his first lesson on roll making and now he is making rolls all the time.
His first attempt at kneading.

I am very proud of my student!

Now we are learning the technique of rolling out the rolls.

He has got it! The rolls were great!
